My Current Makeup Routine
Primer: For the last 3 months I have been using the TULA Face Filter Blurring and Moisturizing Primer and I love it. It works extremely to help with my uneven skin tone and contains superfoods and probiotics to help nourish skin. It’s actually crazy how much it blends and adjusts to your skin type - I didn’t believe the hype until I tried it and now I’m hooked!
Foundation: My go-to foundation has been the Too Faced Born This Way Foundation in shade “sand”. It blends really well when I have any type of color and in the winter I will blend it with the shade “light beige” so it’s more fitting to my skin tone. It’s medium to full coverage without being cakey! I will apply it with my beauty blender - I order a pack of them off of amazon, I linked them here.
Concealer: I use the Tarte Shape Tape Concealer in shade “light sand” and it doesn’t crease under my eye and makes me look more awake! I will also put this on any small areas of my face that are really discolored before applying my foundation.
Setting Powder: My favorite finishing powder I’ve used! I use the Morphe Bake & Set Setting Powder in shade “banana” - it' keeps my face looking less oily throughout the day plus it’s super affordable. I will usually apply it around my nose on both sides, under my eyes and on my forehead.
Eyebrow Pencil & Brow Gel: I will brush my brows up and fill in my brows with the Mirco Brow Pencil in shade “taupe” , then will brush up again with the brow gel (i’ve been using this brow gel for 6 years now!)
Bronzer: Another drug store favorite, the Physicians Formula Bronzer in shade “deep bronzer”, has a great brown color and smells amazing! Gives off a glow look without the crazy shimmer. Love this stuff!
Eye Shadow: I’ve recently been using the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Eyeshadow and I love how subtle it is but still has that neutral sparkle.
Eye Liner: 90% of the time I do wing eyeliner, I feel like it just gives my eyes more definition. Liquid liner works really well for me and I don’t feel the need to spend a ton on it! The Expert Liquid Liner by e.l.f. works super well.
Mascara: My go-to mascara is the Covergirl Clump Crusher Mascara (green tube) because it separates each lash really well and makes them really long, that one is my everyday mascara. On days I have shoots or going out, I will layer on the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara to make the lashes really dark and defined.
Lip Combo: My favorite lip combo is a neutral everyday lip - I will start with the NYX Slim Lip Pencil in shade ”natural”, then will layer on the NYX Lingerie Liquid Matte Lipstick in shade “push-up” + will finish by putting the Buxom Gloss in shade “White Russian” on top.
Setting Spray: Finish off with the e.l.f Matte Magic Mist & Set setting spray to keep everything in place!
